can I give rasam or sambar water to my 6 month baby

A. Hi not now you can probably start after 1-2 months..initially you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato,sweet potato,carrot, Pureed vegetables and fruits, porridges of rawa or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.

A. Fruits like apple banana chicko papaya avocado little mango veggies like carrot Potato beetroot brocoli all these are healthy. Include a veggie and fruit in everyday diet so baby wont have constipation problems.

A. No not now.. You can start with simple purees like carrot, potato, banana and simple waters like rice or dal water. These are easy digesting foods for baby. Then second week you can continue with other purees or combination of two fruits veggies, the third week you can give instant homemade rice cereal. Slowly you can add a veggie or fruit to the rice cereal this would give a different taste.
