Q.
Can I give packet milk to my 9 month old baby. if yes which brand is good? if not when I can start? cow milk or buffalo milk? toned or whole milk ? is heritage, amul brands are good or i have to give pure dairy milk?

Stuti YadavMom of a 1 yr 4 m old boy7 months agoA. yes one can offer animal milk (only cow ) to new born to any age but not pure you should add half water n half milk boil it then offer as the child is tolerating slowly you can lesser the quantity of water by this you child won't get dehydrated..I have 7 children in my house n all have done the same rather than using formula.. everyone is completely fit fine n health with good weight..have tripled the birth weight by 11 month..n they have cross all the milestone at time all have starting walking around 12 to 13 month... except one who was pre mature..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. the thing is that at this age you can go for any type of milk for the child and it can be either formula milk or packet milk or powder milk or animal milk that is either buffalo milk or cow's milk for your child.
initially you will have to offer outside milk in small quantity and if the chcild is tolerating that amount then gradually you can increase the quantity of milk but if the child is not tolerating then kindly change the type of milk you are giving .
(when you boil the animal milk and then cool it you can remove the upper layer of fat and it becomes a toned milk)
