if your doctor has prescribed this medicine than go ahead can administer this medicine but
it is not advisable to use any medicines without medical consultation because they have got side effects.
it is advisable that you should visit your doctor for that.
how to take a particular medicine and the dosage will be told by your doctor.
so kindly avoid self medication

Yes you can give it but I would always suggest you to please crosscheck with about any medicine that you want to give to the child because a doctor can give you a better clarity only sing so it’s always good to cross check with your doctor if you have a doubt in case of any medication,
