can I give orange juice for my one year child while diarrhoea

Dr Medha PatilMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy6 years agoA. In diarrhea, it is important to maintain hygiene and hydration of the baby. You can give home made orange juice , avoid packaged or outside juices. Give other fluids like - ORS , water, coconut water.

PallaviMom of a 8 yr 4 m old girl6 years agoA. hello..don't give when loose motion later can give now that baby is but still can give upset stomach to baby...Once your baby has started solid foods, they can usually be introduced to small amounts of water or juice. Most pediatricians recommend using juices that do not contain acid, which can be very hard on a baby's stomach. Usually, babies will start with prune, apple or grape juice.
