can I give nesle cerelac mixed with cow milk for my 8 month baby?

A. It is advisable to give cow’s milk after the age of one year.

A. Avoid giving cow's milk to your baby till the time he turns one year old. Babies at this age cannot handle that much proteins that the cow's milk contains. Their digestive system cannot take it. Cow's milk has too much sodium which the kidneys of a baby at this age cannot handle. Cow's milk introduced at this age can cause iron deficiency anemia as it has less iron content when compared to breast milk or iron fortified formula milk. You can add breast milk or formula milk to Cerelac.
