Babies at this age cannot handle that much proteins that the cow's milk contains. Their digestive system cannot take it. Cow's milk has too much sodium which the kidneys of a baby at this age cannot handle. Cow's milk introduced at this age can cause iron deficiency anemia as it has less iron content when compared to breast milk or iron fortified formula milk. You can add breast milk or formula milk to Cerelac.
