Can I give nebulizer to my baby while she's asleep and lying on bed?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. yes can doCough and Cold should be ideally treated only after a proper clinical examination by a doctor.it may be any infective or allergic.it is not so related to food items like banana etc.but seasonal changes may aggravate.
if with fever too ,calpol can be given three times a day.give steam and nasoclear drops can also be used multiple times.
Cough Syrup or nebulization should be given according to the type of cough .self medication is not advisable. if the cough is productive you can give kufril-ls syrup for now .avoid refrigerated items and give only simple home-made preparations as required.child will gradually begin to eat as symptoms resolve.at times coughing may take more time to resolve.

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, yes you can give nebulizer yo your baby while baby is asleep. There is no problem. But you will have to near the baby while you are giving medicine. Do not leave the mask on and you are busy with your work.
Just stay their and take good care of the bBy.
