Can I give my baby banana if he is having a runny nose?

Its Mostly said that you should avoid giving banana to the child if your child is having cold or cough so it would be a better idea that you avoid giving banana as of now you can give other fruits like pineapple or Apple or whatever you want to give but just avoid banana for the time being
