A. Hi you should start citrus fruits after 7 months as the acidity in the fruits might not suit the baby and they might get rash..So better to give after 7 months. other the n that you can start with Rice and dal water, Vegtable purees ,Boiled and mashed potato, sweet potato, carrot, Pureed vegetables and fruits, porridges of raw or ragi ,mashed banana ,chicoo..start with 1 spoon 1 time in a day and gradually increase.Always remember a 3 days rule before introducing new foods like when u start with something continue the same food for 3 days and see if the baby is comfortable with that food and then you can introduce a new one.

A. after baby complete 6 months when you introduce complementary food it is advisable to avoid Watery food like the fruit juice, soup Dal ka pani chawal Ka Pani.. these foods are low in energy and just fill the small stomach of baby. where as the energy requirements of baby are high and stomach capacity is less so nutrient dense food should be given hence soft mashed whole fruits is better idea for example banana, Apple Puree, chikoo papaya

A. Hi. yes you can give baby masuambi juice to baby once baby turns seven eight month. But not now. Its quite early to start with juice now as it can lead to sore throat. And give home made fresh juice to baby. no ice and during day time.
