Can i give isabgol to my 2.5 year old son who has constipation. if yes, how much and for how long?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. age of the baby is below 3 years it is not advisable to give isabgol to such a small baby this is used for constipation in adults it has some side effects also please consult your doctor for proper advice

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy5 years agoA. kindly do not give this medicine without medical consultation. also this medicine is not the first line treatment for constipation in children. usually polyethylene glycol is the first line medicine for constipation in children. kindly show to your pediatrician to get the doors.
