ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician6 years agoA. hello and good afternoon , better to avoid , don't add any artificial sweeteners or flavour in milk..give plain milk . Avoid commercial preparations as they are loaded with sugar and preservatives.

A. Hi Mommy, anything which is packed and pre-processed is not a very good option for the kid. Let the kid be 2 years or plus to be able to process anything made in factory! Saying so, you can use the syrup (in a very moderate quantity) in the milk shake. Make sure you clean his mouth after he consumes the shake to avoid any deposition in his teeth !
