#ASKPaediatrician can i give glycerine suppository to my baby if she doesn't Poop for more than 8 days? does that habit forming?

A. Hello, your baby girl is 2 months old and if she didn’t pop so you can use glycerin suppository at her rectum if she doesn’t pop even after use of soap stick

A. most of the newborn babies baby passing stool once in a week also if you are exclusively breast feeding the baby probably no need to worry occasionally we may use suppositories also

A. good morning this is not something which will form a habit definitely you should e use of glycerine suppository for your baby 8 days a very long period of time definitely the child needs to be given a suppository for relief
