can I give egg yolk for my 8 month old baby girl.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. no, give eggs and other non veg after 9 months because it can cause allergy to some babies. always give little amount in beginning and see how baby tolerates it. always give well cooked egg because it increases the digestibility and any microbes if present will be destroyed.

As mentioned, egg yolk allergy is very rare and many medical resources are now recommending egg yolk as a great first food for babies. but may be can cause of eggallergies, then it is best to wait until after 12 months old to introduce egg yolks even if recommendations for introducing eggs are changing..
