Can I give cremaffin syrup to my 1.3 year old for constipation? if not what should I use.. she is crying a lot before passing stool and even controlling her urge to poop.. from past 1 week she is facing this problem

A. hello, generally, constipation is caused by inadequate intake of fluids and low fiber diet. so, instead of medicines ,you can try some homemade remedies to cure constipation. 1.keep your child hydrated. you can offer water at regular intervals or offer nimbupani,juice or buttermilk to your child. 2.give fiber rich food like green leafy vegetables or vegetables like sweet potatoes, tomatoes etc..to your child. 3.offer fruits like pear, papaya, banana etc to your child which makes digestion easy. 4.soaked black raisins are also good for this. 5.you can give warm water bath or warm compress with water bottle (filled with warm water)on your child's stomach. 6.or you can give massage to your child like- give massage on stomach in clockwise direction with firm hands. Slowly walk your fingertips on lower part of abdomen from one side to other side direction. Draw an oval with your fingertips below your child's belly button. Move your child's legs in cycling motion. 7.give enough play time to your child which include physical activities. if condition doesn't improve then please consult your pediatrician for it.
