Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cow's milk should be introduced to the child only after 1 year of age .
Earlier introduction of cows milk can lead to micro bleeding in the digestive tract.
It's also deficient in iron vit E,C and essential fatty acid.
It's also lacking ideal proportion of protein and fats present in breast milk or f any formula milk .
POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. It is recommended to introduce cow or Buffalo milk only after 1 year as after that their immunity and digestive system develop a bit. Do not stop feeding formula milk right now. First let him develop taste for cow milk which you can feed in smaller quantity after a month or so. You can feed foods made from it like oats with nuts, milkshakes with dry fruits, paneer, curd, custard, kheer, dalia, etc.
