Q.
can I give colic aid drops daily to my one month old daughter.i went to pediatrician he suggested me to give 6 drops morning afternoon and evening. is it a good practice or baby will be dependent on that before passing gas. p s: my baby has lots of gas problem she becomes cranky and fussy before passing gas or passing stool. and I want to know how much these problems exist in babies?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the gut .
other factors include cow's milk introduction before 1 year of afge , bottle fgeeding, not giving proper burping after each feed.
Digestive enzymes like aglozyme drops can be given as suggested by doctor in proper dose for reliving of such symptoms .
