ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. no cerelac to 5 month old. Breast milk is the recommended source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six months of life.
Its better to wait till 6 months by that time baby's bowel will be mature enough to accept semi solid foods

What is the ideal age to start feeding Cerelac to your baby? The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends starting solids between 4 and 6 months of age, but it also advocates exclusive breastfeeding for the first 6 months.
