can i give butter milk to my 9 months baby

A. You can give curd or yogurt or butter milk around eight months. Start with few spoons and see if it suits your baby. But whole cow's milk should be given only after one year of age. Buttermilk from curd can be given before one year because the lactose is already broken while culturing and milk protein will be limited hence this will be easily digestible compared to whole milk. Make sure the curd is freshly prepared and not refrigerated
