Q.

can I give biscuit to my 6 months baby? which biscuit i can give? please tell me doctor

A. dear parent, you can start with solid feeds once your child completes 6 months. as far as biscuits are concerned they are a big no as per my opinion since they contain maida and sugar.

A. Hai good evening !! Biscuits maida, processed,sugar recipes are not suggested for babies as sugar causes phelgum, cough,maida reduce appetite. From 6 month onwards start semi solid foods once a day and rest of the day milk either breast feed or formula milk. Fruits and vegetables puriees, mashes, cerelac, porridges, malts idly are suggested. Avoid sugar salt, oil use only ghee, unsalted butter, cheese while preparing baby foods. Check suitability before introducing new food items....
