A. dear mum, you should not give biscuits to your 5 months 4 days old baby. you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. avoid giving biscuits even after 6 months as they are not healthy.

A. Hi, No. please avoid such things for now. They are high in sugar and doesn't have any nutrients. Exclusive Brestfeeding should be done till 6 months of age. All the nutritional requirements of the baby are met by the breastmilk. Once your baby is 6 months old you may start giving semi-solids to the baby like fruit Puree, vegetable Puree, vegetable and dal soups, cerelac, rice porridge etc.Start with a few spoons and gradually increase the amount everyday. Intially replace one feed with solids, then slowly after some days replace other feeds with solids. After 1-2 month baby can have 3 meals a day. Give a few spoon of water after every meal.
