Yes acsolutely mam you can go ahead with that you should just make sure that you are only using a toothpaste which is specifically for kids basically what it means is that it should be completely fluoride free that’s what you can use for child because kids even swallow paste while brushing then that way it’s comfortable it’s not dangerous for the child
