Cow's milk should be given to the baby only after completion of 1 year of age because the protein and fat in cow's milk is hard to digest before that and many a times there could be cow's milk protein allergy in babies and lactose intolerance which could be severe sometimes.
Also early introduction of cows milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia as cow's milk latcks iron and vit c . Also there could be micro bleeding in intestine because of the heavy protein of cow's milk .To start with cow's milk should be given than gradually yofu can shift to buffalo milk or a packet milk which is a mixture of two .
RashmiMom of a 11 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. You should be giving a day after the age of one year. Mostly not before that prior to that you should be going ahead with their normal available for kids after the age of one year. Maybe you can go ahead with it
