This is because honey can, very occasionally, contain a spore of a bacterium called clostridium botulinum. This can cause a rare form of food poisoning (botulism) in babies.#

Yes you can give honey to your seven months old baby it is totally safe if you will give a small teaspoon once in a day. There is no need to give me more than this. Rather than this you should also start giving ragi, oats, egg all these things are very healthy for babies and contains all the nutrition is baby need
