ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. commercially available ready to eat food like cerelac are not recommended as they contain added sugar, flavor. it is better to give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. for convenience and quick cooking, you can give homemade cereal pulse premix or homemade cerelac.

Sneha PuruswaniMom of 2 children7 years agoA. Yes you can give cerelac to the baby but avoid giving on regular basis. Give home made fresh food to the baby for a 7 months old you can give him 3 times solid food and milk in between with a time gap of 2-3 hours in between... you can give him cerelac, khichdi with veggies in it and ghee and curd, fruits and veggies puree, idli dosa, upma, poha rice mashed with dal and ghee, , ragi porridge, wheat porridge, soups, buttermilk, etc.. always follow 3 days rule for new food to avoid allergy...
