A. Corn is rich in carbohydrates but it has less nutrients. Please consume it in moderation. It has high amounts of zinc. It has also some vitamins and minerals which can be good for a pregnant woman. It is an excellent source of proteins and helps in supplying amino acids to the body which are essential for the growth of the baby especially during second and third trimester. It is high in fibre and low in calories. Popcorns made in a microwave are not safe. Make sure that popcorns do not have any added flavours. Make sure that the popcorns are fully cooked.
