ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 7 years agoA. Actually brinjal is not easily digestive, so it is said to avoid, so as to avoid constipation, after delivery your digestion is reduced, thus having easy to digest foods like fruit, daal, rice, jawar bhakri, green leafy vegetables and soups. Include ghee in diet instead of oil. Ghee does not increase weight if taken in proper amount. These help you with proper nourishment, because they get absorbed easily and don't cause indigestion. Take these for 3month atleast. Avoid heavy and hard to digest foods. Have adequate water intake.
