Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 4 m old girl5 years agoA. no avoid as baby will aspirate. gas is a common issue and affects all new born babies. avoid bottle feeding . Burp baby well for 15 mins after each feed. Can do cycling motion of legs. Can make baby lie on tummy to relieve gas. Give gastica drops 1 ml for ease.

And you can also keep your baby on your shoulders and drop babies back slowly it will also help to stop hiccups. Pickups are totally normal and very common in babies so you should not worry about it at all. Stay home stay safe Happy parenting
