Q.
can I bath my baby she has cough and nasal congestion...and can I give nebuliser she is 2months old?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medihucine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fevefr and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy2 years agoA. Hi mom Yes u can give bath to ur baby. Give short and quick bath in winters. Nebulize only if prescribed by the doctor. Give indirect steam to ur baby two three times a day and apply warm mustard oil with pinch of rock salt on the chest and feet sole to get relief from cough
