#Asktheexpert can excessive crying cause fever (temperature higher than 100) in baby...,??? My LO is 7 months today he cried and was very irritate.... Evening the temperature was high, say 100+.... I wanna know he was crying because he was unwell or excessive crying made him unwell??

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist8 years agoA. crying because of fever. ust feed well. wear comfortable clothing. do sponging with water at normal temperature, not too cold. it helps in taking temperature down. do not give medications without prescriptions. consult your doctor.
