ExpertSHRUTI KANCHANLactation Educator and Counselor5 years agoA. Augmentin is excreted in breast milk in small amounts. Although it's often considered safe to use during breastfeeding, it may lead to side effects in a child who is breastfed. If you're breastfeeding your child, talk with your doctor before taking Augmentin.
The same is the case with most medication. There are Breastfeeding alternative medicine available. Please talk to your doctor and do not self medicate.
