good to offer soft, semi solid food to 6 month old. Give vegetables (eg pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, carrot puree) fruits (eg cooked pears/apple, ripe banana) .
Moong Daal water, rice kangi.
Ragi porridge, rice porridge.

as your child is 6 months old,and as you have just started to give semisolid food to your child it is better to offer food like mung dal Pani, rice starch which is easy to digest.
then gradually you can start to offer different vegetables fruit and rice to your child.
after age of 9 months ,you can offer broken wheat
