You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
In older children a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be schedulded according to a proper time try to avoid too much of screen time with sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.

See if you want to maintain a schedule for the child then you can keep your child awake due to the daytime because that’s how our schedule can be maintained but that you should do after the age of 1 1/2 to 2 years right now you can make your child sleep during the daytime for two hours not more than that that’s the max time and after that once a child sleep the child child would be better through the day and will sleep well in night it’s not a time to maintain such a schedule as in-laws are referring
