breast milk storage is safe and how to store. my baby is used to bottle feed.

ExpertDr Arti SharmaPaediatrician6 years agoA. If breast milk is sufficient you may give expressed breastmilk by katori spoon
breastmilk can be stored at room temperature for at least 6 hours
in refrigerator for 24 hours
Bring it to room temperature before giving it to baby
keep it in a bowl of warm water, do not heat
if baby refuses katori spoon and u want to start bottle then start it along with breastfeeds

Hello....you can store milk in storage bags or storage bottles you get along with pump....you can store it in deep freezer upto 6months...Freshly expressed breast milk can be stored in an insulated cooler with ice packs for up to one day. Refrigerator. Freshly expressed breast milk can be stored in the back of the refrigerator for up to five days in clean conditions. However, use or freezer storage within three days is optimal...you should get back milk to room temperature before you give it by double boiling method...
