blood culture test is given for my 43 days old baby. She had fever 102 F. Why blood culture are given?

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. If fever persist for more than 3 days then doctor suggest a blood test to rule out the reason of fever hope you are following tue line of treatment given by your doctor as baby is very small

Sometimes in the fever does not subside within the time of 72 hours or is constantly rising at a higher level then it is recommended to get a blood test done to understand what is the reason behind it because and it could be due to some another infection or sometimes could be due to some another people maybe typhoid or something
