baby still does not wave bye. but gives shake hand and hi five

A. is ok then . by 1 year baby will be saying monosyllables atleast. it will improve eventually, and by 2 years baby should be able to follow simple commands and should speak 2 word sentences. by 3 years it's 3 word sentences. may vary a little

A. dr. rasika, what is monosyllables? he says acha means dad and akka..and sometimes amma. and he gives kiss when asked. gives shake hand and hifive. claps. but not waving bye yet. not pointing also

A. This perfectly fine you need to keep on encouraging each baby is different at achieving milestones you need to teach your baby again and again do not lose hope at any point of time

Q. my boy is 2.4 months, he is not waving his hand bye bye at all, he gives shake hand sometimes only it depends on his mood. he rarely responds to his name. he just babbles all the day but doesn't talk at all.. he understands little words like water sit that's all.. he identifs alphabets numbers and very much interested in books, he writes alphabet A also. he listens to stories.. is this behaviour normal?
