Q.

baby sometimes responds to name and sometimes just smiles and ignores. is it normal?

A. thank you so much.actually he does responds to his father but when I call him he just makes some sound to acknowledge and dosent look at me. but when I call him from other room he looks at me. m not sure how much should a baby respond at this age.

A. Hello dear parent! It is very normal in small babies. Communicate more with your child and try spending more time with your child singing and playing. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Be patient and persistent in your efforts to communicate more with your child. Good luck and take care.
