A. Try offering the same food at another meal. It's the lament of many parents: My baby is a picky eater. There are many reasons infants may be finicky about food. They may be teething, tired, not yet ready for solids, or just don't need as much food as you're feeding them. It's normal for babies to balk the first time (or many times) they try new solid foods, since they've only ever had breast milk or formula. Don't be discouraged if your baby refuses food at first – it can take 10 or more tries sometimes to get your baby to eat a new food.It might well be that your little one doesn't want anything because they're poorly. Just like you, your baby loses their appetite when they're feeling a bit unwell or off-colour . So if your baby has a cold or a sore throat, or if they're teething, they may go off their food . They may simply be too tired to eat.
