A. At 8 months, a baby girl’s average weight should be around 6.5 to 8.5 kg, but it can vary based on birth weight and growth pattern. If your baby frequently gets cold and cough and is not gaining weight, it could be due to a weakened immune system, poor appetite, or nutritional deficiencies. Ensure she gets a balanced diet with iron-rich foods (mashed dal, spinach), protein (egg yolk, paneer), and healthy fats (ghee, avocado). Continue breastfeeding or formula feeding alongside solid foods. Boost her immunity with hygiene, proper sleep, and pediatric supplements if needed. If weight gain remains slow, consult a pediatrician for further evaluation.

A. It should be at least 7 1/2 kg depending upon what was the birthdate of the child and if your child is not gaining weight or your child is feeling often sick like this and that’s a probable reason that your child gain weight because your child is not proper as per the age there is some or the other problem happening consult the doctor
