Baby is drowsy after giving cyproheptadine hydrochloride & tricholine citrate syrup to increase appetite. should we continue giving her syrup?

If a child is unwell or has a sign of illness then you should consult your pediatrician. I would not advise this medication to be used in a other wise healthy and thin child. Cyproheptadine is not approved for use by anyone younger than 2 years old. you should consult your pediatrician if your baby is feeling drowsy .
