A. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 monfyths of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irrictability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.

A. hi overall a child should take 14 -15 hours sleep per day. so if a child is looking happy and active, gains enough weight, achieve age appropriate milestones then no need to worry. but if there is irritability , low appetite, low weight gain etc then please visit your pediatrician .
