Q.

Baby is 6 month 26 days old..naging cover 101.8 after govind colpol 120 4ml but fever persist even before 6 hrs completion...what can i give now?

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic agycid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. hi dear You can give them child-specific paracetamol or ibuprofen as long as they are not taking any other medicine (such as cough or cold medicine advised by your pharmacist or GP) that contains paracetamol or ibuprofen.
