Q.

Baby is 5 month old, doctor prescribed vitcofol syrup and Vit D3 once in a day but we have observed after completing 2 doses on consecutive days he is having dark stools (2 times in 2 days). Can you suggest - Is it because vitcofol and should we stop it?

A. if there is iron in the medication then it will cause the darkness of the stools and if there is anaemia just keep giving vitamin d until one year of age

A. Hello mom This is because of medication and you should not worry about babies. But you should definitely continue giving these medication to your baby mostly doctors advice to continue giving these medication till baby turned one-year-old. So you should just continue giving as advised by the doctor.
