Q.
Baby is 3 months old and he didn't poo everyday. He takes 3 to 4 days to empty his stomach. is this normal??

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning it is very common for small children to be constipated however as long as a high passes motion even once in a period of 4 days you have absolutely nothing to worry about in this regard

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stooll more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes
