Q.

Baby is 2months and 20 days. Since 20 days baby has stopped feeding when awake, he feeds only when sleeping. Before a week, he was 6.3 kg and now he is 6.1. He has wheezing sound. When consulted doctor for the same, they said the chest is clear. Please let me know the solution so that baby feeds well when he is awake.

A. Try to feed when baby is awake like when baby feels sleepy hold her against chest and roam around for 2-3 mins so the baby feels fresh for feeding. don't feed her while lying if she is having wheezing sound and after feeding burp or keep baby's head slightly elevated, or if the nose is blocked try nasal drops.

A. You can give steam to the child and you can also use nasal drops that helps in opening up the nasal passage for better breathing with which I think it will be comfortable for the child to take a feed and this is a common scenario
