Q.
baby is 1 year old. does not point with one finger. his way of pointing is with all 5 fingers and he will just show all 5 fingers towards wherever he wants to go only when we carry him. he will never point with one finger otherwise. he will never point to things which we ask him like ball and all.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. baby begin to point at things with name and can point at things that they want from 13 to 18 month onwards. so your baby has just entered this stage so observe baby. discuss the development milestones for his age with doctor on routine visits. encourage development by conversing with baby, showing and naming things
