Q.
Baby has not passed motion in the last 6 days. she's active but a little gassy. she's is mostly on BM with an exception of 1 formula feed occasionally. is there an medicine to be administered?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Constipation seen in smaller babies specially below 8-10 months is very common and conserning . Avoidance of formula milk is required and cow's milk too should not be given before 1 year of age. In the diet avoid giving banana ragi and packed food Iron supplimentation can also cause constipation .ju Enzyme preparation and stool softener are required if symptom are more and causing discomfort .
