Q.

Baby had loose motion problem Doctor prescribed Zinc Acetate Syrup 5ml at night for 2 weeks. Gave the syrup for the last three days and the stool is solid now. Is it a must to continue the syrup for rest of the days or can we stop it? please advise

A. if the baby is having loose motions to continue with the medicine given by a doctor if there is no improvement again consult your doctor so that he can examine the child accordingly

A. hi please complete the course as per your doctor's prescription. offer light food like khichdi rice upma etc for now. but please don't force feed or overfeed your child. include natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc in your child diet keep your child well hydrated. maintain good hygiene
