baby got hurt with my finger nails.. blood came.. do he need tetnus injection 4 year 3 month.. vaccine upto date

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. no if your child has completed the regular vaccination there is no need to go for tetanus vaccination at this age because it is already covered in the national immunisation schedule. if the injury or cuts is very dirty enough then the final decision of tetanus vaccine will be taken by the doctor.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello parent, be alert for any increase in pain, swelling, redness, or drainage from the injured area, or a fever beginning twenty-four to seventy-two hours after the injury. These may be signs of infection, and you should notify your pediatrician
