Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. any kind of fall injury, specially any kind of head injury needs to be assessed properly. In any such case, you have to check for the symptoms like loss of consciousness, recurrent vomiting, or any kind of abnormal moment of body. Such cases needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury, if there is only blunt injury, which is not very severe, local application of ice will be helpful to reduce the swelling and pain, and also some analgesic like paracetamol or ibuprofen can be given recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoidedv as it can lead to some chronic manifestations. Occasionally, one should also look for teeth injury which is also very common in toddlers and it can be missed easily most of the time.
