Baby does not speak . Only speak mamamama some times

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 21 months old and he doesn’t speak properly but only monologues words like papa and mamma etc so if he has a tongue tie or he can hear or not so consult with speech therapist

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the spefrech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
