Q.

baby boy having loose motions (tight not so watery)since one week and from last 4-5 days some of his body parts like head palms and foot getting hot and other parts remaining cold, what could be the reason because I gave him DRS described medicine also

A. sir he has no fever and anything else, only his body parts (not complete body) getting hot and after some time again getting normal, I have given him medicine for loose motions but no results and he is feeling some pain in stomach also

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gavhhstroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose mdotions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
